Father's Day Preview

This is a little preview of the craft the kids and I did for Father's day. I bought a plain white shirt and Braden, Logan and Abby helped me decorate it!! Braden's handprints are blue, Logan's are green, and Abby's are yellow. I wrote, "Best dad, hands down" on it.

I was worried that it wouldn't turn out well. The boys do not enjoy having their hands messy. Abby has never really had her hands messy, at least not like this. After a practice run on paper we were ready. I did them in order of age, and they all did great!! I was so proud!! As far as I am concerned, it turned out perfect!!

I think Trad is going to be really surprised on Sunday. I have read articles saying that articles of clothing saying "best dad" and things such as that are on the bad gifts list, but I disagree!! I think any dad would be proud to wear his children's handprints. I know Trad is proud of the kids, and he will be proud of this too!!

Pasghetti anyone??

How long does it take one little girl to get this messy?? Evidently not very long. I gave Trad the chore of giving Abby her lunch while I went to pick up Braden from summer camp. I was gone less than 15 minutes and came back to this...


She is just too cute!! It was so sweet to see her like that. She loves spaghetti, but then she really loves everything!! Trad even gave her a bath afterward.

Ok, so maybe it isn't Peter. But I'm pretty sure they are related!! These are pictures of the kids when they got their Easter baskets [or this year they were more buckets!] This looks familiar. Braden got Reeses pieces for Christmas too. Just like Christmas, he had them ate pretty quickly!!

Easter Morning

You will have to forgive me. There are just more pictures of Abby right now. I'm not saying I'm right by taking more of her, but I do. She is just new to me still, a novelty, if you will. She is doing so many cute and new things. And the boys, well, are boys. They don't do that much cute stuff anymore. If they do, I usually miss it with the camera because it's a one time deal with those two. I love my boys, and if I can catch a snapshot of them I do, but for now you are just gonna see more of the Abster.

I know what you are wondering...[**Doesn't she have THREE kids??**] Oh, yes! I certainly do. Let me let you in on a little secret with Braden though. You have to get Braden dressed RIGHT before you leave the house. He doesn't stand for all the hubbledy bubbledy that comes with articles of clothes. Oh no!! This boy likes it down to the skivvies, and he will not have it any other way!! And let me tell you, he can rip some clothes off in a hurry. I don't know how many times I have gotten him dressed and came back 10 seconds later, just to have him sitting in front of the tv with nothing but the bare necessities on!! I have gotten wise to him though. [finally] That's why he gets dressed the very last.

Easter Egg Hunt

Now, there's a story here...

Braden decided that he was going to carefully place his bucket on the trampoline. He left it there and went to hunt eggs. Each time he found an egg he would run all the way back to his bucket, placed on the trampoline, and place it there. Then he would go hunt for another one. We tried to get him to do it differently, but in Braden's world, that just made more sense!!

I just can't imagine how they got on here.

I guess it's just one of those unsolved mysteries!!
